Friday Foto Fiesta Finish - Retro-style

Goodness, where has another week gone?! It's Friday and I have 2 days to rest, relax, and recuperate!! It's also time to play along with Candid Carrie for Friday Foto Fiesta Finish. After you're done here, go there!!

I've posted picture after picture of kids, family, and friends in the here and the now...the fact is, I've got a great collection of pictures from my Nana. My Nana has been a camera buff for decades...She has a whole wall in her house dedicated to family photo albums. I picked this one because it had so much character...that's my Nana & Pop pop on their 5th wedding anniversary (as you can tell from the writing). Speaking of the writing, isn't it gorgeous?! One of my Nana's many talents...You know I'm starting to get some blogging inspiration and will probably doing some more posts on this great (albeit crazy) lady!!

I love old photos. They always look so classy. And because I don't know the people in your picture, I managed to get distracted by the background. So, there is this elegant table. With platters. And linens. But what on earth is on the wall? WHERE are they??

Great Photo! I wish everyone still embraced the elegance of that time. My goodness, why can't we have hair like that today! Beautiful!

cool! you know there are places that can scan all those old photos. could you imagine how long it would take on one of those cheap flatbeds?

this place in chicago -www.thedigitalconvert.com - even does the albums. a lot of places make you take all the photos out which is ridiculous.
