Do you know people that aren't registered to vote? I dont' know that I do. I'll have to start asking. Because people need to vote. Their voices must be heard. You have no right to complain if you don't take part in the process.

What presidential election did you get to vote in first? Mine was Dukakis/Bush Sr.

I registered to vote last week when I got my new CA driver's license. I feel like a new woman and inspired. I tried to add this to my blog but it keeps telling me my URL is incorrect. Any suggestions?

I just watched it again-- I love it :)

frizzy and Bird, there is a spot on the youtube page where you can "share" and post to your blog. Or, just copy the url into the html part...

Already registerd and sent in my absentee ballot. I will not be standing in line for 4 hours this year. (2004 election Ohioans had unheard of turn out for voting and made election history)

Kat: My first election was Bush Sr/Clinton. However, Dora Bush came to speak to my senior class in HS regarding her Dad...I didn't turn 18 until the following year.

All: I just though it was a powerful message. This is a wonderful right we have and if you want something to change or stay the same, you need to have the power to have your voice heard!!

Voting is so important. It saddens me how low turnouts are for elections. I'm registered and will be doing my duty in November.

Amazing.
I'm not sure what to think.
Yes, voting is so important, and your right, and your responsibility.
How about this... in Australia you HAVE to vote. It is law. Or you get fined.
