Weigh-in Wednesday

I'm really behind this week. I was on my way to weigh in on Monday and I was (may be) a mile away from the meeting and I got a call from one of the MDs I work for...something was wrong with the phone system. It wasn't going over to answering service so I turned my car around and proceeded to try to get the @#@$$#%$#% phone system to work. An hour later, I had missed both WW meetings and my husband was pulling out his hair waiting for me to get home. My mission today is to find a Wednesday meeting and weigh in. A hint of what's to come...I think I went up by at least 1 lb. I can't tell you what I did wrong/different this week...it was just one of those weeks...I'm just keeping at it...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My husband, who cooks most of our dinners, looked up WW recipes and has started making them for us. How cool is that?!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was perusing through old photos and I found this picture of myself from 5 years ago...I thought I was heavy in this picture. Why is that always the case? Why do we do that to ourselves? So I am using this as a motivation picture...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lastly, go over to OSB for their Wednesday Weigh-in....
Hey girl! It's me, the long lost commenter! :-) Keep it up on the weight loss front. I shudder to mention how much I've gained in the past 3 weeks. It's bad. This time of year is NOT my friend. I'm hoping to turn things around soon, but it will require doing something other than sitting on the couch eating Oreos. LOL!
And you look beautiful in that pic! Actually, I like your profile pic too! I actually worked on a post last night about how horrified I feel when I look at pics of myself. I deleted it after a good cry and 3 Oreos. Sigh.
Isn't that the worst- I look at pictures from years ago and remember feeling fat- Now I'd kill to look like that. I have a motivation picture too- yours is beautiful!
we can be so hard on ourselves. sometimes I think that we need to shut ourselves up and listen to others. You look great, then and now!
I agree, you look great in that picture and I think you look great now. But it sounds to me like if you keep going to birthday parties at Rebounderz you'll weigh nothing in no time!
That's a great pic and it's amazing that your hubby cooks the WW meals! I have a WW cookbook of chicken recipes and they are delicious!!
No matter what I weigh, I think I'm fat. Sad. You do look great in that picture, and although I haven't seen many current pictures, not much different from now!
I wish my husband would cook WW dinners for us. sigh.
Your husband cooks for you?!? Clearly, he's a candidate for sainthood. An excellent way of saying "thank you," I think, would be to take the children somewhere this Saturday during the Florida-Georgia game. Maybe beforehand you could pick him up some chips, salsa and a six-pack of his favorite beer.
If your husband doesn't go there already, Alanna's site "A Veggie Venture" http://kitchen-parade-veggieventure.blogspot.com/ is an excellent place for WW friendly recipes :] She marks every recipe with how many 'points' it counts for, and includes nutritional information down at the bottom. Check it out!
