Mamma Mia!

I went out to dinner and a movie tonight with a couple girlfriends...actually it was Brenda's birthday gift from my friend Laura and me. I've really wanted to see Mamma Mia! so that was the movie we picked to take Brenda to for her birthday. I love the music of ABBA...I don't know why...may be my parents played it in our house and would feed me cookies at the same time so I forged a feel-good memory that would surface when ABBA music played. Have I ever mentioned that Muriel's Wedding is one of my all time favorite movies? I am sure it is because the music...I digress...

I thought the movie was fabulous!! I can't wait for it to be available on dvd because I'm definitely going to get a copy. This is what I imagined I looked like throughout the whole movie:
My mouth actually hurt from laughing and smiling so much.
How can the music from these people not make you smile?!

I am dying to see this movie! I'm really tempted to just head over there by myself because hubby would rather die than go to this one. Glad to hear a rave review!

I love ABBA! "Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen"... how can you not like their music! I'm going to go put their CD in right now!!!!

And I love Muriel's Wedding, too.

I don't think my hubby will take me to see this one, either. Angie - maybe we can go together?!

Hello Kelly - I hope you're well!!

I saw Mamma Mia in London about 8 years ago and loved it... I can't wait to see the movie! What fun to go with a friend.

Yay ABBA! I used to listen to them on my dad's 8 tracks. I didn't get cookies, though, what's up with that??

I'm going to go eat a cookie right now to make up for it. Seriously.

P.S. the Twilight books are good but get them from the Library, unless you think your daughter will read them. They are SUPER MUSHY teen books..

Another post with evidence that we were seperated at birth. Muriel's wedding is one of my all time favorites. And Mama Mia...wasn't it great? I had that same huge smile on my face the entire time. We saw it on stage (I even brought my girls) - and I cannot wait to go and see it again (and I NEVER see the same movie twice at the theatre!).
