Weigh-In Wednesday

Hello, Hello, it's Wednesday again and time to report how I'm doing on my weight loss goals along with all the other peeps at OSB. What's OSB you ask? Well click here to check it out!!
Quite honestly, my mojo is not 100% back...I am still not tracking food; probably because I wait until I've done all my daily tasks (including catching up on my reading, etc.) and I am just too tired to log. I need to get back into the habit of logging immediately after I eat.

I am still attempting to do the Couch to 5 K program. I have only done gone out to run 1 time since last week; I was supposed to do the run last night, but I was unable due to good ol' tropical storm Fay. I'm trying to get myself out of my funk and get re-motivated, but as I read back on what I've written and all I see is constant excuses...

So now for the numbers...I'm up again by 0.6 pounds :( What is it with me and this 0.6 lbs thing?! So I did bring up the whole mojo thing in the meeting today which just so happened to be about setting realistic, mini goals for myself. So I started thinking of a good first goal to reach as motivation...How bout being able to wear my wedding rings again?! Yup, that's right, my fingers are too plump to wear my rings; how embarrassing is that?! Unfortunately, this has been a reality for me for a couple years so I don't know if that would be a really good motivator...May be if I go under a certain number, I'll treat myself to a massage!? Any ideas?...I need to get back on track!!!!
How did you guys do this week?!

Oh how I seriously need to get back into my exercise routine. I did so good this winter and lost the 10 pounds I wanted but summer came and everything went out the window. At the doctor today they weighed me and I have gained 3 pounds back which for me is huge because it takes alot for me to gain (and loose). If you come up with a good first goal let me know because I think I need one to.

I'm sorry you can't wear your wedding rings. That's such an icky feeling.

I hate dieting, but it's something I should be doing. It takes so much time and energy!

Thanks for visiting me on my SITS day Monday!

How about.... You lose 20 lbs & come over to Norway? Hmmm? Then we could eat & drink our way across Europe like the good ol days? Sigh....
Do the massage !

It's so hard to pick a motivator. I just want clothes in smaller sizes. I am still trudging along. Doing okay. Down 16 pounds. And counting...

Didn't do so well this week.... Baked cookies (just in case we had a hurricane??) then proceeded to eat them all myself. So, I'm thinking that was a bad idea. Maybe??

Man, I so need to get my behind back to the gym. I don't mind it once I'm there but it's getting there in the first place that's the problem.
Yes, totally get a massage!

clothing is my motivator... I love love jeans... and hate not feeling good in them... I rewarded myself with a pair of 7 for all man kind when I lost 20!

Just keep on keepin' on--it will come off! I think it's totally normal to plateau--that always happens w/ me! Writing down what you're eating defiitely helps--try to get back in the swing of that.

I always try to reward myself w/ clothes!

I've been uncharacteristically good this past week! I'm surprising myself!

Maybe the 0.6 thing is because it's muscle gain! Think positive yo!

Motivate yourself with a NEW ring, a big sparkly one!

Got a lil sum-sum for you, stop by my blog. :)

I know exactly what you mean about the wedding rings. I had to have mine resized about 2 years after our wedding. I was only 23 at the time. It was misery. Now, I'm getting to where I'm going to have to resize them the other way because they're getting too loose. Woo hoo! Other than that, I have no other good news to report. I'm starting the 100 pushup challenge (again) on Monday, along with the couch to 5k program. I'm a glutton for punishment.

I like Lori's comment... I'm all for treating yourself with sparkly baubles.

Keep trudging along... I know you can do it! :) Of course, this is coming from the person who refuses to do any exercise herself.

I found the 'couch to 5 K' program, and have been thinking of giving it a try.
Maybe today....

Just take baby steps.....I'm not doing so well on the C25K...and I don't have a good reason....like a tropical storm. Don't stress yourself out about it either. I've been giving myself a guilt trip....why am I so hard on myself? I wish I would shut up!!!

You know though, one thing I've been doing that seems to help a little....especially with Z around since I can't really get on the treadmill w/him around is to do like situps, or pushups or squats....something like that every once in awhile. It may take me an hour to get a 20 minute workout in.....but at least I'm moving....
